Secret Saviors

 

               We always thought we are lucky when surviving from a disaster or illness. Did we ever think if there secret savior when we need them? Here shown an illustration of two places with different theme but had a same message. For the image on the left, many people do not aware of this situation especially from the country that in peace. The illustrator want to show view on the background, a situation where wildfires burn people's property and buildings collapse due to bombs. This resulted in the people losing their shelter. The subjects shown was been protected by soldier. It let them to feel protected in a place of destruction. 

        Next is image on the right, due to the covid-19 epidemic is rampant, illustrators want to illustrate the atmosphere of how people are afraid of the disease. The subjects shown was been protected by their secret saviors, we called frontliner. The frontliners are people who help in tackling the problem of this dangerous disease such as doctor, as referring the image. Now let see base on creativity, types of creativity of the illustrator are deliberate and emotional creativity. People who are categorized as deliberate and emotional let their work influenced by their state of emotions. 

            The illustrator had shown he or she concern about what is happening to the world. Let people know about the saviors who help those in need. the subject positions of the two themes are placed evenly and balance the entire picture of the illustration. Although the illustration depicts a disaster, the illustration seems to harmonize. There are many different approaches to the use of color in this illustration art which are color as tone, symbol, harmony and contrast. Lastly, indeed there are many people who do not have daily necessities such as food, instead we have wasted and do not appreciate it. We must appreciate everything we have today.
